My first step to the new me is going back to Slimming World. I have blogged and done youtube videos about my battle with my weight before and I had lost 4stone with Slimming World, but I really struggled last year and in November I decided I really needed to take a break from it. I rejoined last night and I was pleasantly surprised when I stood on the scales, I haven't put on as much of the weight that I had lost as I thought I would have. I decided to draw a line under that though and start a fresh, I think it would be too depressing striving to reach 2.5 stone AGAIN, 3 stone AGAIN, etc. I will keep my blog and my Instagram updated with my progress and I'm sure I will do more youtube videos as well.
The next step is to use my time more wisely. I really want to get more crafts done, keep my blog and youtube channel going and spend quality time with the kids. I keep hearing myself saying "I haven't had time for that" but when I think how much time I spend playing games on my ipad or phone, I know I could be more productive with my time.
The third step is to get more done in the house. Last year me totally transformed the outside by putting in new double glazing and having the garden done ( I can't wait until the summer to make good use of it). This year we are concentrating on the inside! We are going to redo the kitchen and the bathroom, with a lot of help from my Dad, who has built a rod for his own back by being so blooming good at everything:) the kitchen units and the bathroom suite are all fine, but when both were fitted, the money ran out and the decoration was never completed. We are also having a major declutter and reorganisation of every room in the house. This did start last year but is going to move up a gear or 2 this year.
I think that is enough to be getting on with for now:)
In other news, we have a new little kitten called Luna. She is fitting into the family perfectly and Harry loves her, most of the time;)
