30 Day Snap #13

Sorry my posts are out of order because I noticed that one post had failed to publish so I had to redo it:(

I went to see my #1 daughter in her school production of Hairspray twice this week. It was absolutely amazing, the pupils and staff have put so much time and effort in to it and it really paid off. I'm quite sad it's all over now and Katie doesn't know what to do with herself.

30 day snap #10

My Glossybox has arrived :) I'll post a link to my video when it's up.

30 Day Snap #12

Today is my 40th birthday :)  The girls at work decorated my desk and got me some lovely gifts. I'll do a seperate post later about my birthday but for now, here is the lovely balloon that is currently floating over my desk.

30 Day Snap #11

A trip to the supermarket just isn't as good unless you come away like this :)

30 Day Snap #9

I have 2 pictures for you today. My mum and dad have just got back from Istanbul and they brought me back a beautiful leather notebook. I have to write down a positive thought everyday so that when I'm feeling down I can read through it and improve my mood:)

We also got Harry and Robbie together. Harry is going to be staying at my parents house when we go to Disney next month so we are trying to get them more used to each other.

Thanks for reading :)

30 Day Snap #8

Oh dear, I'm not very good at this. I fell asleep early again last night!

Steven and I had a rare childless afternoon yesterday because Jessica was at the safari park with the brownies and Katie was at a rehearsal for a show that she is in. We decided to go out geocaching as it was such a nice day, but we stupidly forgot the sun cream. It was a really hot sunny day and we had a lovely afternoon but I ended up really headachy and went for a wee lie down and ended up sleeping until morning.

Thanks for reading, I'm going to post todays picture now so I am all caught up :)

30 Day snap #7

Sorry this should have been up last night but I fell asleep!

The weather has been lovely the past few days. The sun is shining and, most importantly, it is dry. I wonder how long it will last :)

30 Day Snap #6

This is what gets me through the morning :)

A portion of frozen cherries and a fat free vanilla yoghurt. I rarely have time for breakfast before I leave for work so I take some frozen cherries in a tub and by about 9.30 they are ready to eat. It stops me from getting something unhealthy from the canteen.

30 Day Snap #5

I've got a bit of a motivational one for you today.

My Mum bought me this little plaque and it sits on my desk at work. I look at it every day, maybe I should start paying attention to it.

30 Day Snap #4

Tuesdays are always hectic in our house and with my Mum and Dad being on holiday and me on Grandparent watch things were even more so today.

I had a quick snack when I got in from work and then I was on the go all evening.  I finally sat down at 10pm with a lovely bowl of porridge (gluten free)
My first choice of picture for today had been Jessica trying to teach Harry how to do the cup song but I wasn't quick enough with the camera :(  He seemed really interested and was trying his best but sadly his little paws were letting him down.

30 Day Snap #3

As my kids and Harry will probably feature quite a lot on my blog I thought that I would share something different with you today.

Meet Sydney, who is staying with us while my Mum and Dad are on holiday.
Sydney is about 7 months old and loves Jessica to bits.  Jessica can spend ages sitting by the cage stroking Sydney and talking away to her.  I don't think she likes me so much :(

30 Day Snap # 1&2

I thought it might be fun to take part in the 30 Day Snap that Louise over on A Sprinkle of Glitter started.  For more information visit her blog post here

This was supposed to start yesterday but I spent most of the day with a migrane so was not able to post.  I am, however, going to give you a few pictures today to make up for it.

Steven and I like to do a bit of geocaching (GPS treasure hunt) but don't get to do it as often as we would like because as the kids have got older they have got less enthusiastic about it.  Imagine our surprise when Jessica aactually asked her Dad last night if we could go caching today, so we jumped at the chance.  Katie opted out but is now at an age where we feel happy leaving her for a few hours.

The weather was glorious, the caching was successful and we all had fun.  Harry had lots of stops for water and Jessica managed to find somewhere to sit and have a snack, sadly we forgot a drink for ourselves:(  We also made a new friend in a fluffy haired cow that Jessica named John!

Let's hope it's not too long before she wantsto go again :)
